What is super moon ?
On this astronomical
event, moon looks 14% Bigger and 30% Brighter but it is necessary to understand
that moon doesn’t expand size itself, It comes closer to earth as a result we
see its huge size. Let’s understand that how it comes closer to the earth. As
moon orbits earth in ellipse. its maximum distance from the earth is 406692 Km
( Apogee or micro-moon) and minimum distance is 356500 Km (Perigee or super
moon). When full moon comes on minimum distance of moon from the earth, so
super moon happens and at this astronomical event moon appears bigger than its
regular size on full moon.
9 March, 8 April and 7
May are the super moon days in this year. According to NASA (National
Aeronautics and Space Administration), first time in year 1979, supper moon had
been seen, that’s why it is very important event from the point of view
