What is protected view in Excel



While opening excel from the outlook or untrusted sources, MS Excel often display “be careful-email attachments can contain viruses. Unless you need to edit, it’s safer to stay in Protected view.”


If you really trust the excel files from specific path or outlook, will require to set those paths in MS Excel. Let’s consider that when we open excel files from outlook, files open in PROTECTED VIEW. Do the following settings to remove Protected view from the excel.

1.    Go to Excel Option


2. Click on Trust Center Setting
