Thunderbird mail backup

Hi Thunderbird lover, here we are going to show you how to take thunderbird profile backup, profile includes your mail settings, bookmarks, contacts and mail.

What is thunderbird: Thunderbird is a open source Email client which provides you to access mails from server free. It'll be nice choice if you don't want paid email client.









Take backup of your Thunderbird Mail client, Follow these steps:


1. Open thunderbird, click menu button, and go to the Troubleshooting Information, see screenshot.

2. click on Open folder,

3. Click on Profile directory and copy data as a backup in safe place.

4. When you install Thunderbird in new system then open profile directory and replace data with you have backed up.

5. Re-open thunderbird.
