Restrict Multiple login for same user on Remote Desktop Server

How to Restrict user to use multiple session for same user on Windows Server 2012 / Windows Server 2016 / Windows server 2019


  1. Go to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Session Host > Connections.
  2. Set Restrict Remote Desktop Services user to a single Remote Desktop Services session to Disabled
Now user can be have one session either connected or disconnected.
